Hello, my name is Alex Meier and I am a middle-distance runner specializing in the 800 meters.
Ever since I started athletics at the age of 12, I’ve been passionate about pushing my limits and competing at the highest level. This season, I am determined to take the next big step in my career and work towards qualifying for international championships.

My goals for this season:

• Lower my personal best (PB) to under 1:48 in the 800 meters.
• Achieve a new season's best (SB) at national and regional meets.
• Reach the finals at the Swiss Championships.
• Secure qualification for the U23 European Championships.

My previous successes:

• Personal best (PB): 1:49.20 in the 800 meters.
• 2nd place at the 2023 Swiss U23 Championships.
• Member of the national development squad since 2022.
• Participation in multiple international youth competitions.
